My Lucy, is one silly little girl. Here is alittle bit about my youngest. She is very silly and easy going. She loves to make people laugh and smile. And her laugh is absolutely contagious:) She loves to tease and goof around. She is amazingly fearless and plays tough like alittle boy, but is extremely girly also. She loves shoes and jewelry. When she is mad she has a temper and when she is told to do something and doesn't want to listen she will run away. She likes to make messes! Where my oldest Belle is a clean freak and doesn't like to be dirty, Lucy has know problem with a mess. She will rub her dinner in her hair, all over her hands, face, stomach, legs. AND she is a sneaky, mischevious, a super adorable kid. She helps me to be more easy going as a mom and let things go. Let me give you an example...
I was doing wash the other day. I put my whites in the dryer and went to help Belle pick out some pajamas. After I helped Belle I went to shut the Laundry room door and there was Lucy, smirking. Now when Lucy smirks it ALWAYS means she is up to something, but I looked at her, smiled and helped her out of the Laundry room thinking nothing of it. After I put the girls down for bed I went to take the whites out of the dryer to see dark green spots all over my whites. There was a melted crayon stuck right in the middle of my once nice clean whites. Now about a year ago I would have done one of two things...Either cried in complete frustration or freaked out and had a chat with my baby about what a no no that was. My reaction was a laugh! All I could think was, well we needed some new clothes I guess now is the time to get some. It is funny how over time mothering helps you become more patient, easy going and enjoy the little moments that pass so quickly. Even if those moments are a bunch of green tie dyed shirts:)

The Joys of Pregnancy...
I love being pregnant, but there are definite moments where I have to laugh. For instance I had to go to the Social Security office today to get a new card. I brought all sorts of treats and books knowing that this could be a long wait for my girls. Half way through I am noticing Lucy's diaper is leaking. At the same moment Belle yells, "Mom I have to go potty, bad." and Peter kicks me so hard I nearly peed my pants. So getting up as quick as I can without causing an accident I waddle to the nearest rest room. I get in and there was the question. Only one toilet, three problems. Who should go first? So naturally I help Belle. Then Lucy's diaper literally falls apart. At this point I am thinking, " I am a grown adult, don't pee your pants." I go to grab a diaper realizing I didn't bring one. Another joy of pregnancy my forgetfulness. I waddle back to our chair, Lucy screaming and people staring, grabbed the diaper and at this point lunging to the bathroom. I changed the diaper faster than I have ever changed a diaper in my life, put Lucy down and well that was the end of me. Belle looked at me shook her head and said, "Mom I guess you don't get a star on your potty chart." Right after my 19 month old grabbed a diaper and gave it to me. Long story short, I am now laughing about it but man what a crazy moment.

Funny Moments in Mommyhood
Okay so I am not quiet sure how to make this look super cute and cool yet, work in progress I guess. But funny stories I always have on hand when it comes to our family. Normally Belle wakes up and greets me with, "Good Morning my Beautiful Gigantic Ginormous mommy,". The first time I heard that I wanted to cry but had to put in prospective that she is three and at least she put beautiful first before anything else:) Last night I couldn't sleep cause I was so sick from Mr. Peter giving me indigestion from heck. So Belle this morning says, "Wow mom you don't look so good, you need more sleep. I will take care of you. And she did. She started to get a blanket, tickle my head, sing to me" You are my sunshine"(which I always without fail sing to her every night) and then if it couldn't get any better I hear her say,"What do you want for breakfast Lu.'? Lucy tells her Cereal and bananas with a water. Belle goes in the kitchen and comes back with all those things. Then lays in bed with me while she watches a movie. Then she asked me why I was sick and so I told her. She presses her lips up against my belly and says, "Peter, our Mommy does everything for us and so you have got to be nice, okay? I wanted to laugh, cry and just snuggle Belle and never let her go. I love being a Mommy and I am the luckiest mommy to have the sweetest most tender child on the face of the world.
On to new things...
I decided to FINALLY start a blog. Its funny how expecting a beautiful new baby makes you think about all the things that need to get done or are still left unfinished. So...I am have been super crazy and proactive to make sure I get them done. One thing at the top of my list was to finish scrapbooking my girls books and journaling all the fun and cute things that Belle and Lucy do before I forgot those moments all together. Scrapbooking has been one thing. I never realized how many pictures I took till I sat down and looked at all the cds that need to be developed with at least 400 pictures on each cd. Yes that will be a work in progress developing all those:) But journaling has been a fun, emotional, and enjoyable thing for me. My girls are so completely different in looks and personalities from one another, but individually they add something special to our family and to each other!! I hope you enjoy getting to know our family as much as I'll enjoy writing about our Silly Schoenfeld Clan:)
